Jason Jaspersen poses for a portrait in the second floor of his studio. The small, cozy space serves as a nerve center for his artistic projects. Much of his time is spent here in the morning as he works without an agenda, jotting ideas down in an imaginative sketchbook or playing around with materials. “During that time I play with ideas,” Jaspersen said. “After that I check my emails and organize my schedule. So those are two very different kinds of tasks. Very imaginative and then very organized right after.”
